The mission of JSAA is to improve the quality of safety appliances and promote their correct use under the guidance of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, in cooperation with academics, experts and technical researchers. JSAA, is also the only organization in Japan whose members manufacture and sell personal protective equipment and safety colors/signs, and who are actively involved in developing protection against radiation(radioactivity). JSAA, in which many academics, experts and technical researchers participate as special members, plays a unique role and has earned the trust of industry as a review organization for ISO and JIS standards.
